3 tbsp onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup bacon grease
6 tbsp flour
1 can cream of chicken soup
11/2 cups milk
11/2 cups diced,cooked spam (ham may be substituted)
1 tbsp lemon juice

Cheese Biscuit dough:
2 cups flour, sifted
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp cold shortening (Crisco)
3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Saute onion and peppers in bacon grease, stir in flour, then add soup and milk. Stir and cook until thickened. Add Spam (or ham) and lemon juice. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
Roll out biscuit dough and cut with biscuit cutter on floured surface. Place uncooked biscuits on top of the spam/ham mixture and bake for 15 minutes at 450. Reduce heat and continue baking for about 10 more minutes.
