1 egg (separate yolk from white)
milk
1 c. Crisco
salt
2 c. flour
apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
3 c. sugar
3 T. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
butter
¼ c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
For crust, place 1 egg yolk in a 1/2 cup and fill the remaining space with milk; then beat together. Place in a mixing bowl and add Crisco, a dab of salt, and flour. Mix together. Roll out and then lay in a 9x11 pan to cover. (Make sure to keep some dough to cover the filling).

For filling, fill pan with apples. In mixing bowl, mix 3 c. sugar, 3 T. flour and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Pour mixture over apples. Put dabs of butter on top of apples. Top with remaining dough. Bake at 350º for 80-90 minutes. Apples should be soft when finished.
