2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
1 Tbsp. butter
2/3 c. heavy cream
1/2 - 1 c. crushed pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Pour all ingredients into a heavy boiler and cook over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cover and Cook 2 or 3 minutes until syrup boils. Uncover and continue cooking to soft ball stage (2 or 3 additional minutes). Cool and beat until smooth enough to spread. Add crushed pecans if you like. Work fast as the icing hardens as it cools.
