6 qts. of popped corn
2 sticks of butter or margarine
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Stir sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt on medium heat until it boils. Boil 5 minutes (no stirring). Take off heat.

Add:
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Layer popped corn and sauce in a large roaster pan and toss. Bake for 1 hour at 250º. Stir every 15 minutes. Pour on a flat surface that is covered with waxed paper to cool. Store in a tin or freeze.

You can put it in a bag in the freezer. May be eaten immediately upon removal from the freezer. The friend that gave me the recipe years ago used a brown paper bag to freeze it in.
