Personal Notes:
To my knowledge, this is the only recipe we have from our Grandma Knerly-Rakoczy-Kossa, Dad's mother. Our Hungarian Grandmother cried a lot and always said, "Oh, dar-link, Grandma loves you so much!" I do not remember ever having her Christmas cookies; Margit may. In an old notebook/cookbook that Margit and I think may have originally been Great Grandmother Geltz's, I found this recipe written on a torn Christmas card with a notation in Gammie's handwriting that indicates this is Grandma Rakoczy's.
