6 ounces small elbow macaroni
6 ounces coarsely grated Swiss cheese
6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
6 ounces evaporated milk
small onion, finely chopped
½ tsp minced garlic
½ Tbsp dried basil
1 drop Tabasco sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 large egg, well beaten
2 ounces finely grated Parmesan cheese
3 Tbsp margarine, cut into pieces

Directions:

Boil macaroni according to package directions. Drain thouroughly and place in a large mixing bowl. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Add Swiss and cheddar cheese, milk, onions, garlic, basil, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Mix in beaten egg. Pour mixture into an ungreased baking dish. Sprinkle parmesan evenly and dot with margarine.

Bake uncovered until nicely browned and puffed. About 45 minutes. Serve immediately.
