4 c. fresh cranberries
1 t. grated lemon peel
1 1/2 c. whole walnut pieces
2 T. unsalted butter, cut into bits
1 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
dash of cinnamon
unbaked basic pastry for 2-crust pie

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º. Mix all ingredients except pie pastry together until well blended. Roll out half of pastry and use to line bottom of 9-inch pie pan. Pour filling into unbaked pastry. Roll out remaining pastry and put in place for top crust. Cut slits in top to vent. Bake 10 minutes at 450º, then reduce heat to 375º and bake 30 minutes longer.
