Ingredients:  
4 tart cooking apples,
1/4 c. sugar
cored and sliced
1/2 t. cinnamon
3 T. lemon juice
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Toss apples with lemon juice. Combine sugar and cinnamon and set aside. Cook half of apples in large skillet along with 1 T butter over medium heat about 5 minutes or until tender, turning frequently. Sprinle half the sugar mixture the last 30 seconds of cooking.
Repeat with remaining apples and butter. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over apples. Makes 8 servings.
