For the cake:

1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
2/3 cup vegetable oil

For the topping:

4 cups flour
2/3 cups brown sugar
2/3 cups sugar
2 sticks melted margarine
1 stick melted butter (all margarine is OK)
1 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar for dusting

Directions:
Grease 2” deep aluminum lasagna or roasting pan. Preheat oven to 350°. Do not follow cake mix directions. Use above ingredients. Bake cake for 20 minutes. While cake is baking, make topping. Mix all dry ingredients. Pour in melted butter and vanilla. Ingredients will be very pasty when mixed. Remove cake from oven after 20 minutes. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of cake. Return cake to oven and bake 20 – 25 minutes longer. When cake is cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
