Sweet & Sour Dressing

1/4 c vegetable oil
2 T sugar
2 T red wine vinegar


1.4 c sliced almonds
1/4 head of lettuce
Romaine lettuce
2 stalks celery, chopped - about 1 cup
2 spring onions - thinly sliced
1 can mandarin oranges - drained
1 c croutons

Combine the dressing ingredients in a glass jar. Shake well. Cover tightly and let stand in refrigerator over night.

Just befor serving, pour dressing over salad and toss.
