2 cups sugar; 2 cups flour;
1/2 cup buttermilk;
1 teaspoon soda;
2 eggs slightly beaten;
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to a boil 1 stick of butter; 31/2 tablespoons of cocoa; 1 cup of water; 1/2 cup crisco and add to the sugar and flour mixture. Add soda to buttermilk and dissolve; then add milk, eggs and vanilla. Pour into a 13x9x2-inch pan and bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and bring to a boil 31/2 tablespoon of cocoa; 6 tablespoons of milk and 1 stick of butter. Add 1 pound of powdered sugar and 1 cup chopped pecans. Beat until smooth and spread over warm cake.
