3 lbs chicken (cooked with chopped onions, celery, salt and pepper)
16 oz pkg Pepperidge farm stuffing mix
½ cup melted butter or margarine
1 can sliced water chestnuts (drained)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
2 – 3 cups broth

Directions:
De-bone chicken, leave in large pieces. Mix stuffing and butter. Place ½ of stuffing in bottom of large casserole dish. Place chicken pieces and chestnuts on top. Mix sour cream and soup. Pour over chicken. Put remaining stuffing on top. When ready to bake pour enough broth over to be moist but not too soupy. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. This is a great family gathering recipe and can be made ahead and refrigerated and then add broth and bake just before serving.
