1 lb. freshly ground turkey

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced

1 jar (8 oz.) taco sauce
2 Tbsp. chopped pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin

1 head lettuce, shredded
taco chips
tomato wedges
refried beans
Thousand Island Low Fat Dressing

Directions:
Directions:

Heat oil in skillet. Add onion and garlic and cook 3 minutes.

Add turkey and cook, breaking turkey into bite size pieces, 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.

Add taco sauce, chopped pepper, chili powder and cumin. Cook about 10 minutes or until thickened and flavors are blended.

Spoon mixture on top of lettuce. Add tomato wedges.

Garnish with taco chips, refried beans, and Thousand Island Dressing, if desired.

Each 4 ounce serving contains 25 mg. cholesterol; 390 mg sodium; 190 calories and 10 grams of fat.
