2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp. onions, chopped
2 tbsp. bell peppers, chopped
2 tbsp. celery, chopped
2 tbsp. pimentoes, chopped
1 1/2 c. crab meat
1 1/2 c. boiled shrimp, chopped coarsely
Toasted bread crumbs, or crackers (1 c. crushed with 2 tbsp. melted butter)
Sharp cheese, grated, for top

Melt butter, add flour, cook on low for 2 minutes. Whisk in milk and salt. Bring to boil, stirring constantly, until thick. Saute onions, bell pepper, and celery. Add to white sauce. Add pimento, crab, shrimp, and pour into greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, or cracker topping, and cheese. Bake at 350º until cheese is melted.

My dad ("Pop" to his grandchildren), had a little sister, Mary Zuro, who currently lives in Pensacola with her husband, Joe. We had the best time visiting with them, and always remember her fabulous seafood dishes and "Uncle Joe's" awesome steaks!
