2 sticks butter (softened)
1-3/4 c sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder

21 oz can cherry or apple pie filling
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Grease 9x12 baking pan
Mix the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla together until very well mixed.
Add the baking powder to the flour.
Slowly add the flour mixture to the liquid ingredients.
Hand mix thoroughly.
Spread 3/4 of the batter to cover pan evenly.
Add the apple or cherry filling over batter.
Dollop remaining batter over the filling.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Perfect served warm with ice cream.
