1 quart water
8-10 stems and leaves of mint that have been twisted and bent.
3 tea bags of your choice, Apple Spice is good, orange pekoe, or English breakfast is also good.
twist of lemon
Crushed ice


Directions:
Directions:
Bring 1 quart water to a rolling boil. In a 2 quart pitcher, place 8-10 stems and leaves of mint that have been twisted and bent. When the water comes to a boil, add 3 tea bags of your choice. Pour water and tea bags over mint in the pitcher. Allow to steep for 10 minutes, remove tea bags and mint stems. Add 1 quart of cold water. Serve over ice with a twist of lemon. Crushed ice is very good for this tea.
