Ingredients: |
Ingredients: -Hate chopping veggies: Vidalia Chop Wizard actually works saving prep time!! -To thicken soups or stews: Remove about 1/4 from the pot & blend in a food processor or blender until smooth & return to pot & stir. This also makes it taste like it has simmered for hours! -Frozen hash browns will also thicken the soup or stew & increase quantity when unexpected guests drop by at dinner time. - When Baking - Replace 1/2 oil in recipes with applesauce, smashed bananas, baby food, or mashed potatoes - Condensed milk & evaporated milk are not the same thing!

Directions: |
Directions:-- To quickly thaw frozen vegetable put in colander & run cold water over them. - To keep avocados from discoloring, place the pit in the bowl & cover with plastic wrap. - When using fresh herbs use 2-3 times as much as you would have used dried herbs. -You can "fry" a lot of things in water instead of oil or reduce the amount of oil by adding water so it doesn't stick or cook down. |

Notes: - Too much fresh veggys? Blanch the veggy 3-4 minutes, dump in ice & put in freezer bags; will last up to 6 months. Cooking should be fun! Creative! You don't have to be exact (except in baking).
