2 c. chopped tomatoes
1 small Nigerian hot pepper
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Chop all vegetables and combine. Stir in lemon juice and black pepper. Put tomato sauce and 1 c. of the vegetable mixture and clove of garlic into blender. Grind until fine. Stir back into vegetables and add salt. Boil 5 minutes and then refrigerate or can in prepared jars.

The following substitutions may be made:
For the Nigerian hot pepper - canned jalapeno slices.
For the green pepper - a large Nigerian red pepper.
For the tomato sauce - tomato paste and water.
