2 T cocoa
1 T instant coffee
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup bourbon ( or 1/4 cup water and rum flavoring)
2 T light corn syrup
2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together cocoa, coffee and powdered sugar. Combine bourbon and corn syrup and add to dry mixture. Add cookie crumbs and nuts. Mix well. Form into small balls and roll in powdered sugar. allow to rest overnight. Store in covered container or freeze. Make 36 balls.

For our family, I use the rum flavoring instead of the bourbon. It works tastes just as well, if not better, than the bourbon.
