4 eggs
3 Tbsp sugar
1/8 tsp nutmeg
8 slices of bread cubed
6 Tbsp better
1 C milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, milk, sugar and spices together. Melt better in a 12" dutch oven. When hot, pour in the egg mixture and bread cubes. Cook with folding strokes until golden brown OR pour the mixture over the bread cubes in a greased 8" square pan and bake at 375º for about 40 minutes (in which case we dub it baked barf). Serve with your favorite syrup.
