1/2 cup soft shortening (part butter)
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together. Mix all ingredients together. Form into 2 1/2 inch logs, roll log into candy sprinkles. Wrap logs in wax paper and chill for at least 1 hour.

Bake @ 400 º for 8-10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet~cool and frost with white frosting.
