1 C self rising cornmeal
1/2 C self rising flour
Stir together:
1 egg
2 tsp oil
1/4 C sugar
Buttermilk

Add buttermilk until the batter is like cake batter. Beat 3 min. With an iron skillet on the stove, heat 2 T oil until hot. Pour batter in skillet then put in oven@425º for 18 min.
