1 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. + 2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 sticks (3/4 c.) butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 3/4 c. oatmeal (old fashioned)
3/4 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt

Chocolate topping
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. water
3 1/2 c. powder sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream on low peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and butter. Add dry ingredients. Butter cookie sheet. Press out evenly. Bake 350º for 10-12 min. Will feel doughy but golden on edges. Let cool but still warm enough to spread a thin layer of peanut butter.
Chocolate topping
In a pan add butter, cocoa, and water. Bring to a boil. Take off heat. Add powder sugar. It will be stiff. Add vanilla to make creamy. Spread on top.
