"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

1 c. warm milk or water (110 degrees)
2 eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup melted butter
4 1/2 c. bread flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white sugar
21/2 tsp. bread machine yeast
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 1/2 T. ground sugar
1/3 c. softened butter
1 pkg cream cheese
1/4 c. softened butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. salt

1. Place ingredients for dough in the pan of the bread machine in order recommended by the manufacturer. Select dough cycle; press start.
2. After the dough has doubled in size turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, cover and let rest 10 min. In a small bowl combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
3. Roll dough into a 16x21 inch rectangle. Spread dough with 1/3 c. butter and sprinkle evenly with sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll up dough and cut into 12 rolls. Use dental floss and circle around dough and tie to cut. Place rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 baking pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 min. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400.
4. Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 min. While rolls are baking, beat together cream cheese, 1/4 c. butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla and salt. Spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.
