1 yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cups corn syrup
3 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups copped pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, 1 egg, and melted butter until blended. Reserve 2/3 cup of batter. Spread rest into a greased and floured 13 x 9 pan and bake at 325º for 15 minutes.

Mix reserved 2/3 cup batter with syrup, 3 eggs, brown sugar, vanilla and pecans. Pour on top of crust and bake 50-60 minutes more.
