Leaf lettuce
3-4 new spring green onions
1 T. sugar
salt to taste
4 pieces bacon, fried crisp
4 T. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Use tender leaf lettuce & was thoroughly. Drain on towel. Place in a medium to large bowl (depending on how much you want). Sprinkle 1 T. sugar over lettuce. Slice onions over lettuce, using the green onion tops. Sprinkle with salt & add to bowl. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet & add vinegar to the drippings. Heat & pour over lettuce while hot. Crumble the bacon over the lettuce. Toss & serve immediately.
