1 C sour cream
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 C butter, melted
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 C warm water
2 eggs, slightly beaten
4 C flour
Filling:
2 pkgs. (8oz)cream cheese
3/4 C sugar
1 egg beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Heat the sour cream over low heat in sauce pan.
Stir sugar,salt, & butter. Heat until butter is melted & sugar has dissolved. In a small bowl sprinkle yeast over warm water. Allow yeast to soften. Combine sour cream mixture, eggs, & flour. Mix well. Cover & refrigerate overnight. The next day divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each section in 10" x 8" rectangles. Spread with the following filling: Combine cream cheese, 3/4 c sugar, and 1 egg in medium bowl. Mix with electric mixer. Spread evenly over each rectangle. Roll each rectangle jelly roll style from the short end. Transfer to greased baking sheet.
Allow to rise until double (about 1 hr.). Cut slits across the top of each roll about 2" apart. Bake 375º for 12-15 minutes or until nicely browned.

These are so worth the time invested. I melted butter & brush over the top or you can glaze them with confectioner sugar/milk mix. These rolls also freeze well.
