2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

8 oz. butter, softened
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 eggs

2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

Beat butter, sugars and vanilla extract in large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 375º oven 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
