"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 box/package of corn bread mix
1 egg
1 teaspoon chopped jalapenos
1 Tablespoon chopped onion
2 Tablespoon whole kernel corn

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together and let set for 5-10 minutes. Mixture will be thick. Drop by teaspoon full into hot oil (enough to deep fry). Flip over and fry until golden brown. Remove and drain. Note that larger huge puppies will take longer to cook and could easily burn. Make these rather small (1 tsp) so that they will cook inside before getting too brown on the outside.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
If you add extra sugar the batter will very moist and may not hold together well. In that case, add a little more flour and cornmeal until batter is very thick.
