2 & 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 t. shredded orange peel
1/2 cup orange juice
2 T. butter
1 can (3.5 oz) flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Butter sides of heavy 3 qt. saucepan. In it, combine sugar, corn syrup, peel & orange juice. Cook over medium heat to 300º (hard crack stage), stirring often. Remove from heat & stir in butter. Pour in thin layer into a buttered 15 & 1/2x10 & 1/2 inch pan or platter. Immediately sprinkle the coconut over it evenly. When cold, crack into pieces.

You may want to serve with a warning - "not responsible for dental issues resulting from eating this candy". It is delicious, but honestly, do be careful serving to children or elderly. Make their pieces very small.
