2 or 3 ripe bananas
1 medium apple
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
dash salt
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mash bananas with fork. Cut up apples into small cubes. Combine together and stir in remaining ingredients in order given.

Pour into a greased 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" loaf pan. Bake at 325º for 1 hour or until done.
