4 lbs. meat (beef or venison), sliced 1/4" thick
1 (4 oz.) bottle liquid smoke
1 c. brown sugar
3 (10 oz.) bottles of soy sauce
2-3 Tbsp. Cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients without meat. Cover and let sit for 10 min. Add meat and stir well several times to keep sugar from settling out. Cover and let sit for 10 min. Take out and place on dehydrator racks. Sprinkle one side of the meat with pepper and garlic salt or powder to taste. Dry 8-12 hours or until desired dryness. Can be frozen when done.
