1/4 pound butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 cup sliced walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar--add egg. Mix in flour and balance of ingredients. Form mixture on top of a loaf pan. Cover with wax paper and refrigerate overnight.

Next day, slice the dough while on pan into THIN half circles. Bake cookies at 350 for eight minutes on parchment paper.
