1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped red apples, without skins
1/4 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter in a large mixing bowl; gradually blend in sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and milk. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt, and blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chopped apples and nuts.

Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
