1 1/2 pork shoulder, cubed
1 1/2 cups corn meal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried sage

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer pork in salt water until tender; about 1 hour. Drain, reserving liquid. Shred meat. Measure liquid and add water to make 4 cups.
Bring to a boil. Add meat, corn meal, salt and sage. Bring to a boil and cook until you can cut a slice (about 5 minutes)
Pour into a greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Cool.
Cut in slices and fry.

I remember Grandma Simpson making this and I found this one; but, I think she used pork hocks.
