2 lbs. veal cubes
1/4 cup flour mixed with 1 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup oil
1 4-oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 small onions, thinly sliced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. leaf oregano
1 small clove garlic, minced
1 28-oz. can tomatoes (do not drain)

Directions:

Roll veal cubes in seasoned flour and fry in hot oil until well browned. Put into slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients. Stir together well.

Cover and cook on Low 6-8 hours or on High 4-5 hours. Serve over rice or fettuccine.
