1 c. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Miniature marshmallows
Chocolate frosting (recipe follows)

Directions:

Melt butter and cocoa together on low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and beaten eggs. Mix well. Add flour, salt, vanilla and nuts. Mix well. Spoon batter into greased and floured 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Sprinlke marshmallows on top of hot cake. Cover with chocolate frosting.

Chocolate Frosting:
4 T. butter
1 (16 ounce) box powdered sugar
4 T. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk

Cream butter thoroughly. Add sugar and cocoa and beat well. Add vanilla and milk. Spread icing on warm cake. Cool cake several hours before cutting.

Use cocoa instead of flour to dust greased pans when baking chocolate cakes.
