2 cups brown sugar
2 cups sugar
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
2 cups butter

Put all ingredients into a large pot with a heavy bottom. Cook on stove over medium heat stirring constantly. The caramel is done with the temperature reaches 244º on a candy thermometer.
