1 18 oz jar creamy peanut butter
1 stick of butter, softened but not melted
½ tsp. vanilla
1 ½-3 cups powdered sugar
1 bag chocolate chips
1 tsp vegetable shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together peanut butter, butter, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in powdered sugar a little at a time until dough holds together well. Form into balls. Chill for about 30 minutes. Place chocolate chips and shortening in microwave safe bowl. Cook for 30 seconds at a time, stirring well between each set until melted and smooth. Cover balls with chocolate. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Chill to set.
