-----MAKE THE MEATBALLS FIRST-----
1. Place your minced meat in a bowl. Add tablespoon of paprika. Add egg. Add salt and pepper. Add breadcrumbs. Mix with your hands and form quite large palms sized meatballs.
2. Put a large pot on the stove, add olive oil (enough to cover the whole of the bottom of the pot). Place the meatballs in and brown on each side.
3. Place on a plate and keep to one side.
4. Fry sausages in same oil and keep to one side.
------------NOW THE SAUCE---------------
1. Dice up your onion and add to the pot (using the same oil used for meatballs and sausage) and wait 1 or 2 minutes.
2. Crush 1-2 cloves of garlic and add to pot of onions. Brown both.
3. Add cans of chopped tomato, stir. Add salt and pepper. Add fresh basil. Add tomato puree to thicken and enhance flavor.
4. Add meatballs and sausages and put on a low simmer for 1 hour and a half.
