1 lb. beef sirloin steak
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
1 minced onion (about 1/2 cup)
1 can beef broth or bouillon
2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 small minced garlic clove
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour
1 cup sour cream
3-4 cups cooked egg noodles

Cut meat across the grain into 1/2 inch strips, about 1 1/2 inches long. Melt butter in skillet and add mushrooms and onion and cook until tender. Remove from skillet and cook meat until light brown. Reserving 1/3 cup of the broth, stir in remaining broth, ketchup, garlic and salt. Cover, simmer for 15 minutes. Blend reserved broth and flour, stir into meat mixture. Add mushrooms and onion. Heat to boiling, while stirring. Reduce heat and add sour cream. Serve over noodles.
