1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 - 16 oz. can red kidney beans, rinsed & drained
1 can Campbell's tomato soup
1 soup can of water
1 T. instant minced onion
2 t. chili powder

Cook beef in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat 8-10 minutes, stirring til brown, drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients, heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Cool & serve with shredded cheddar cheese.

This recipe is an old Betty Crocker standby for feeding hungry kids quickly. It's a mild version, so younger children like it. I liked making it because it's so easy & I usually had the ingredients on hand, especially on "snow days".
