2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft shortening
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease well and flour pan. In large bowls sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt Then add shortening, milk and vanilla. Mix for 2 minutes and pour into cake pans. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
