1 c. crisco
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg whites
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 c. sifted flour
pinch of salt
2 pkgs, finely chopped walnuts
Raspberry jelly

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all ingredients except the walnuts and the egg whites. Shape the dough mixture into small balls. Dip the balls into the egg whites and roll them into the chopped walnuts. Place balls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300º for 5 minutes. With a thimble punch a hole in the center of each cookie (for the jelly). Bake another 20 minutes at 300º. Insert raspberry jelly into the hole.
