Ingredients:
6 eggs
3/4 stick butter
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
deep fryer
canola oil

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, butter, salt and baking powder until smooth.

Add the flour to the egg mixture a little at a time until the dough becomes firm enough to knead. After you knead it to form a smooth ball, divide the dough into 5 separate dough balls. Let sit under a bowl for at least 15 minutes.

Working with each ball separately, knead again before you roll them with a rolling pin to a thin layer. Using a pizza cutter, cut into 2 1/2 to 3-inch thick strips (6" long). Pinch the strip in the middle to form a bow. Place each bow into a hot deep fryer until golden. Drain on a paper towel or brown paper until all excess oil is gone.

To serve you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar or if you like to make them really sweet add some honey!
