2 Eggs
1 Cup Sugar
2/3 Cup Crisco
1 Pkg. Raisins (Seeded)
1/4 Cup Hot Water
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Oatmeal
1 Cup Nuts
1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and Crisco©. Add eggs, then 1/4 cup of hot water to which the soda has been dissolved. Sift all dry ingredients together and add vanilla. Add nuts, oatmeal, and raisins. This will be a very stiff dough. Drop from teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325º until brown.
