5 eggs, separated
1 c. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c whipping cream, whipped
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
Dash of salt
1 c. boiling water

Beat egg yolks until very thick. Sift together sugar, flour, cocoa and salt. Add to eggs yolks along with vanilla. Beat egg whites until very stiff. Fold into egg yolk mixture. Bake in jelly roll pan lined with waxed paper at 400 for 15 - 20 min. Turn out on damp towel sprinkled with powdered sugar. Remove paper immediately and roll and chill. Fill with whipped cream and serve with chocolate sauce.
Chocolate sauce: Combine dry ingredients and add water slowly. Cook for several min. Remove and add 1 tsp. vanilla. Cool and serve on chocolate roll.
