1 c. flour
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, finely diced
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. chicken bouillon
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 carton (8 oz.) sour cream
hot cooked noodles or rice
2 whole chicken breasts, skinned and cut into strips

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle chicken with flour, salt and pepper. In a Dutch oven or kettle, heat oil over medium-high heat. Lightly brown chicken. Pour off all but 3 tbsp. drippings. Reduce heat to low and add onions and garlic. Saute until tender. Add remaining ingredients except sour cream and cook for 30 minutes. Remove from heat for 5 minutes and add sour cream. Return to low heat and heat thoroughly, do not boil. Serve with noodles or rice.
