3 Tbsp olive oil
½ cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove minced
15 oz can tomatoes (diced or crushed)
1 Tbsp oregano
¼ tsp sugar
2 tsp basil
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in pan on medium heat; sauté onion and garlic until translucent (about 5 minutes).
Add tomatoes, oregano, sugar and basil. Simmer until thickened (about 1 hour).
Season with salt and pepper.
(You can use fresh tomatoes and try to use fresh herbs.)
