Ingredients: Prepared 10 inch pie crust shell. 3 eggs 2 Tbsp. flour 1/2 C. half & half 1/2 C. mayonnaise 2 C. shredded cheese 1/3 C. onions ( spring green onions or shallots)
FILLING
Use one or any combination of: 1 1/2 C. crab meat or 1 1/2 C. cooked mushrooms (shitake, button, portobella) and 5 slices bacon /or 1 pkg. spinach

Directions:Use a prepared pie crust, pre-baked at 400 degrees for 5 min. before filling.
You will mix indicated cheese with filling as below.
For crab: Use Sargento cheese (see notes).
For mushroom: Sauté mushrooms and onions in butter. Brown 4-5 slices bacon add to mushrooms and onions. Use Kraft Classic Melt cheese.
For spinach: Chop spinach, remove moisture in paper towels. Use either Swiss cheese or Kraft Classic Melt, and dash of nutmeg.
Bake quiche 40-45 min. at 375 degrees. |

Notes: This basic quiche recipe can be adapted to almost any kind of filling that you want to use. Other possibilities: broccoli, ham, combinations. For the cheese use Italian Provolone or Mozzarella or 6 cheese blend found at Publix.
